Have Faith.

I recently heard an interesting analogy for faith. It went a little something like this, we all anticipate and have so much faith that our next breath will be there that we take it for granted. Yet it is always there, without us even having to think about it. Now, if God has provided us with enough breath to assure us that it will always be there until our days are numbered, don’t you think that he will provide us with everything else as well?

We never worry or consider whether or not our next breath will be there, yet we worry and consider if everything else will. If we will have enough money to pay the bills. If we will get the promotion that we have worked so hard for. If we will one day find “the one”. If our kids will grow up to our expectations. If we can lose the weight. We can find any and every excuse to worry, but when it comes to considering whether or not our next breath will be there, we have so much faith that it will.

So why not extend that faith to every other area of our lives? Instead of worrying about all of the things that are outside of our control, why not have more faith that they are in His. When we stop worrying about what we don’t want to happen, we allow ourselves to consider what we do want to happen. The Laws of Attraction then have the opportunity to attract what we really desire into our lives and God can give us exactly what we need. By focusing on what we don’t want to happen we indadvertedly attract it to us. But when we find peace within our minds and place our faith in God, he gives us everything our hearts desire.
